1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when creating an account or using JobCardOS:

• ·Account information: name, email address, business name
• ·Business data: skip records, booking details, driver information
• ·Billing information: processed securely via PayFast (we never store card numbers)
• ·Usage data: pages visited, features used, session information
• ·Device information: browser type, operating system, IP address

2. How We Use Your Information

• ·To provide and operate the JobCardOS service
• ·To process payments and manage your subscription
• ·To send service-related emails (receipts, expiry notices, support replies)
• ·To improve and develop new features
• ·To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on servers in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only. We do not store payment card details — all payments are handled by PayFast, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account cancellation, data is retained for 30 days to allow for export requests. After 30 days, all personal data is permanently deleted from our systems. You may request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us.

5. Third-Party Services

JobCardOS uses the following third-party services:

• ·Supabase — database and authentication
• ·PayFast — payment processing (South Africa)
• ·Resend — transactional email delivery
• ·Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
• ·Google Analytics — anonymised usage analytics

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and we only share the minimum data required for them to operate.

6. Your Rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• ·Request correction of inaccurate information
• ·Request deletion of your personal information
• ·Object to the processing of your information
• ·Request a copy of your data in a portable format

7. Cookies

JobCardOS uses essential cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We use Google Analytics with anonymised IP addresses to understand how operators use the app. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of JobCardOS may not function correctly without them.

8. Children's Privacy

JobCardOS is a business management tool intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice within the JobCardOS app. Continued use of JobCardOS after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
