We collect information you provide directly when creating an account or using JobCardOS:

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on servers in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only. We do not store payment card details — all payments are handled by PayFast, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account cancellation, data is retained for 30 days to allow for export requests. After 30 days, all personal data is permanently deleted from our systems. You may request immediate deletion at any time by contacting us.

JobCardOS uses essential cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We use Google Analytics with anonymised IP addresses to understand how operators use the app. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of JobCardOS may not function correctly without them.
JobCardOS is a business management tool intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice within the JobCardOS app. Continued use of JobCardOS after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
