Mechanic job card questions

What should a mechanic job card include?+

The customer and their number, the vehicle (make, model, registration, mileage), the work the customer asked for in their words, an estimate, the parts and labour used, and a signature agreeing to the work. Note what was left in the car, such as the spare key or service book.

Why record the mileage on a job card?+

It dates the service against the vehicle, so the next time it comes in you can see what is due and what was done last time.
